OS-TAN Wiki is a public encyclopedia of OS-tan culture. It is built so that a search for 'OS TAN wiki' can land on a cited, 2026 English reference instead of an outdated MediaWiki, a TV Tropes page, or a token site. It is not a replacement for the wiki already running inside OS TAN.

WIKI.EXE is how you read the old English archive while sitting at the desk. This site is how the open web finds OS-TAN. Linking both directions is the point.

Editorial rules

  • Write original English. Do not paste OSC, Wikipedia, or Moeverse.
  • Cite. If a day is only in one secondary source, say so.
  • Stamp FAN, CANON, CORP, OURS, or DISPUTED.
  • Do not host other people's character art. Most of it is not free. OS TAN is ours.
  • Do not pretend Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, or any vendor asked for this.
  • Adult imageboard context is noted where it affects history. This encyclopedia is not a porn index.
