Madobe family
CORPThe Madobe family (窓辺, 'by the window') is a set of promotional characters built by Techno-Alliance — first as Windows 7 Mania, then Windows Navi+ — to sell Japanese DSP copies of Windows and related Microsoft products. They have voice actresses, limited SKUs, Twitter/Facebook accounts, Comiket booths, and a fictional family tree. They are labeled CORP on this wiki. They are not the Futaba sisters.
Moeverse treats Madobe as a separate universe that 'has nothing to do' with OS-tan. We document the overlap because searchers land on both. We do not merge the casts.

Extended tree (Moeverse / campaign bios): Nanami's parents Mikaho Madobe and Kyūhachi Shirato; siblings Goichi and Mutsumi; Yū and Ai as daughters of Eīchi Nezu and Shī Madobe; Claudia as cousin (cloud ≈ Claude/Claudia). Tōko is written as a Madobe from a hundred years in the future. This is advertising backstory. It is denser than Futaba ever bothered with, which is how you can tell it is not Futaba.
How 'official' were they?
English headlines say 'Microsoft's OS-tan.' The finer record: DSP partners bundled the characters with Windows product. Microsoft Japan did name Claudia and Claude as Azure official characters (usage guidelines, now archived). Japanese Wikipedia does not treat Tōko as Microsoft-official — Techno-Alliance DSP promo. Inori is Microsoft Singapore, not Navi+. Hikaru is Microsoft Taiwan Silverlight. See each page.
