This encyclopedia is a secondary work. The primary record is scattered: Futaba threads that were never meant to be archived, artist homepages that died with Geocities and Infoseek, DSP product pages, and a handful of English magazine posts. The list below is what we actually used.

Article footers point here by id. Treat Wikipedia and Know Your Meme as maps. Treat Moeverse as the best English Vault/artist chronology we have. Treat OSC as a corpus, not as copy-paste. Treat Japanese Wikipedia on Madobe names as a check against English blogs that over-assign Microsoft authorship.

Trouble Windows original publication pages are dead; the Internet Archive copy is the object. Nanami-era campaign sites closed. Azure character guidelines are archived. If a URL is gone, the article says so.
