OS-Tan Collections (ostan-collections.net) is the long-running English-language OS-tan site: a MediaWiki, a forum, a canon list, and a huge catch-all of hardware and malware girls. If you learned OS-tan in English between 2005 and 2015, you probably learned it there.

Its introduction still carries 'outdated information' and 'needs cleanup' banners. That is not an insult. It is the state of a volunteer wiki whose last serious wave was the Vista argument. Modern Futaba characters and the full Madobe chronology live elsewhere — mostly Japanese blogs, Moeverse, and now this encyclopedia.

OS TAN ships a local dump of OSC inside WIKI.EXE (~572 pages, search, categories, live fallback). Historical characters remain with their creators. We do not relicense that art. We do not strip OSC off the internet. We add a public front door that search engines can actually rank in 2026.

OSC's own mission statement still holds: it is open to OS-tan viewers around the internet, including lesser-known systems Futaba never froze. For one-shot tans, start there. For the culture's spine, start here.
