2K-tan (often just 2K, also Nisen) is Windows 2000 as a person. Professional, reserved, multi-tasking — the NT-line adult in a house full of 9x chaos. She is usually drawn as Me-tan's guardian because 2000 was the stable counterpart to Me.

The cat-ear clips are a ni-ke / nya pun, not a commitment to being a catgirl. Nyake is the alternate design that goes all the way to ears, tail, and collar. Do not treat Nyake as the default 2K. Wikipedia records a charger tail in some drawings (power / uptime joke).

She appears in the 2003 Vault list as 2000-tan. The Ohzora figure set left a molded space for her as OS Girl 2K even when the boxed minis were 95, Me, and XP.
